Another variation of an all-time favorite, the Black Laced Red Wyandotte is an uncommon color. Their deep mahogany red feathers are laced with a slick black. Black Laced Reds carry all the same Wyandotte characteristics – a broad and deep body with thick legs and dense feathering. They’re already a sizable bird yet because of their extra fluff they appear even larger. Wyandottes are a very good layer of medium-large light brown eggs. Although similar, Black Laced Red Wyandottes differ from Gold Laced Wyandottes in the Red is darker than the Gold.
