French Blue Copper Marans are a fun twist on your favorite chocolate layer. They are broad, stand tall and just as their name suggests – blue and copper. They are fair layers of medium-large eggs ranging in color from caramel to chocolate. Blue Copper Marans are an active feather-legged breed that loves to forage. By ordering our Blue Copper Marans you will receive 100% blue chicks - however breeding these chicks will result in blue, black, and splash offspring. Note: Between April 1st and October 1st, Mt. Healthy Hatcheries has a minimum shipping requirement of 3 birds (instead of the usual 10). If you order 3 chicks to ship outside of April 1st - October 1st, the order may be delayed or shipped with cockerels for warmth, as decided by Mt. Healthy Hatcheries.
