The largest breed in the American Class the Jersey Giant has appropriately been nicknamed the ‘Gentle Giant’. Although only average layers these birds lay a considerably larger egg than most. Roosters are popular to caponize but these birds have decreased in popularity for consumption due to their slow growth and poor feed conversion. Our Blue Jersey Giants are a gorgeous slate blue with an almost-laced looking pattern.
